Budapest

Budapest is the capital and largest city of Hungary. It is considered an important hub in Central Europe and is the country's main political, cultural, commercial and industrial center.

Budapest is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe as it is situated on the banks of the Danube. within the city are some of the most culturally exquisite sites, which have made Budapest famous.

History :

Budapest’s rich culture is linked to the numerous rulings that occurred in the city, from the Roman Empire, the Italian Renaissance, the Turkish occupation and the Ottoman rule, Much of Budapest’s architecture reflects its history and influences.

The parliament building is said to have taken its influences from Westminster Palace in London. It was the Turks that built the baths there, utilizing Europe’s hottest natural springs, which are still in full use today.

Budapest became a single city occupying both banks of the Danube river with a unification In November 1873 or right (west)-bank Buda and obuda with left (east) bank Pest.

Climate :

The city has a temperate, transitional climate. It ranges from mild snowy weather to almost sub-Mediterranean weather, depending on the season.
